By ancient law\, Solara welcomes them all. For Sola ra was once saved by those not born of its soil\, and the kingdom remember s.\nBut not all who cross the Veil come in peace.\n\n\nThe Shadowed\nBeyon d the eastern marches\, where sunlight weakens and the land forgets its ow n name\, the Shadowed gather.\nOnce\, they were people of Solara.\nKnights . Nobles. Farmers. Kin.\nThey were not conquered by blade or fire—but ta ken.\nThe Shadowed believe that light is a lie told by those who fear the truth: that all things end\, and in ending\, are finally honest. They marc h not to rule Solara\, but to still it—to freeze it in an endless dusk w here nothing may grow\, change\, or hope.\nAnd now\, they hold a weapon no army can ignore.\n\n\nThe Stolen Blood\nDuring the last Thinning of the V eil\, under guard thought unbreakable\, a member of the Royal Bloodline wa s taken.\nNot slain.\nNot ransomed.\nTurned.\nClad now in blackened regali a\, crowned in shadow\, the lost royal stands among the Shadowed—proof t hat even Solara’s light can be extinguished.\nSome say they were broken. \nOthers whisper they chose this path.\nA few believe the person who was t aken is still alive… waiting to be reached.\nThe crown has not named the m dead.\n\n\nThe Gathering of Armies\nNow the year turns again.\nTwo armie s stand across the Fields of Fate.\nTo the west:\nThe Banner of Solara\, g old and white snapping in the wind. Knights\, militia\, spellcasters\, and travelers from beyond the Veil stand shoulder to shoulder. Old alliances strain under the weight of fear—but still\, they stand.\nTo the east:\nT he Host of Shadow\, silent\, unmoving\, their banners dark as starless sky . Among them\, figures not seen in a generation… and one who should neve r have stood there at all.\nBetween them lies scorched earth—and choice. \n\n\nWhat the World Asks of the Players\nThis war is not yet decided.\nTh e Veil is thin.\nTruth is fragile.\nAnd destiny is unfinished.\nWill the t ravelers from other worlds tip the balance toward dawn—or doom?\nWill th e stolen royal be redeemed\, or crowned in shadow?\nWill Solara’s ancien t laws of welcome prove its salvation—or its greatest weakness?\nWill th e Shadowed be broken… or revealed to be something more terrible than ene mies?\nWhen the horns sound\, the world will remember what you choose.\n ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://sandbox.kingdomofsolara.net/wp-content/u ploads/2026/02/The-Rising-2026.jpg CATEGORIES:Barony of Black Moon,Barony of Ravenscar,Camping Event,Field Battles,The Savage Lands,Tournament LOCATION:The Rising\, 6569 Valley View Rd.\, Silverton\, OR\, 97381\, Unite d States X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=6569 Valley View Rd.\, Silv erton\, OR\, 97381\, United States;X-APPLE-RADIUS=100;X-TITLE=The Rising:g eo:0,0 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:America/New_York X-LIC-LOCATION:America/New_York BEGIN:DAYLIGHT DTSTART:20260308T030000 TZOFFSETFROM:-0500 TZOFFSETTO:-0400 TZNAME:EDT END:DAYLIGHT END:VTIMEZONE END:VCALENDAR
